TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:
Yesterday’s vote in the House of Representatives to impose sanctions on Chinese officials over human rights abuses weighed on global stocks as it seemingly increased the risk of breakdown in US-China talks. But today, US Index futures gain after Bloomberg reported that U.S. negotiators expect a phase-one deal to be completed before tariffs are set to rise on Dec. 15. Europe is outperforming after the report.
