GERMAN OCT FACTORY ORDERS FALL 0.4% m/m; est 0.4% gain, Eurozone Retail Sales +1.4% (exp 2.2%). On tap today, we have Challenger Jobs, Jobless Claims, Trade Balance, Consumer Comfort Index, Factory Orders, and Durable Goods. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will make a statement at 9 a.m. EST on the status of the impeachment inquiry. Pelosi Is To Say Later Today That The Democrats Are Moving Forward On Impeachment According To A Lawmaker

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:   

U.S. equity-index futures advanced alongside European stocks as investors weighed the prospects of America removing a scheduled tariff hike on Chinese imports in 10 days. Tiffany & Co., Dollar General Corp., Michaels Cos Inc. and Kroger Co. all report earnings as retailers remain in focus.

E-mini S&P is +0.35%, Nasdaq +0.43%, RTY 0.40%, Dow future +0.37%. 3124 area is the .618 retrace of the recent decline and will be our initial key to start the day (chart two).
